I know about the populations of people from one area or another in USA. I've been in SF as well as NY. I also know about the interest in European history and ancestors. Like i said: Europe is a museum/history for the americans.
But a lot of European politicians, businessmen aso travel USA thick and thin studying all kind of stuff - bringing the best ideas/systems home to their countries and implementing.
The opposite is not very common i think. Only tourists. Your problem though. And it will be,believe me, if it doesn't change. Economically at least.
